I am Melanie, Mum of two boys and I live in Solihull. My services extend to Coventry, Warwick, Birmingham and surrounding areas.
I have trained as a birth and postnatal Doula and antenatal educator and in postnatal massage based on ‘closing the bones’. I feel that women should have access to all the information they need about their pregnancy and birth choices, and then be fully supported in which ever decisions they make. I can help birthing women and people, to achieve both.
My personal birth experiences include a hospital birth with gas and air, pethidine and an epidural, and then a non-medicated home water birth. I have suffered with anxiety and depression during pregnancy and as a mum. I am a big advocate for being open about mental health and making sure that anyone suffering gets the timely support that they need.

For my Doula services, I offer a free initial meeting where you can ask me any questions and I can understand a little more about what support you are looking for. You are then able to make a decision in your own time if I am the Doula for you.
