La Partera- The Midwife. Experienced and fully insured Independent Midwives offering antenatal, birth and postnatal care packages in the Northwest of England. Former One to One Midwives, Lucy and Rebecca, offer midwifery led care in a continuity of carer model, including a homebirth service or labour support in hospital. They have a range of experience in caring for pregnant people with all manner of circumstances and base their philosophy on offering choice through access to good quality evidence. Their passion is getting to build trusting relationships with their clients and follow them through their journey into parenthood. Both have been midwives for a number of years with experience in VBAC and vaginal breech birth and are confident in supporting people to give birth outside of the hospital setting. Appointments are longer and more flexible to meet the needs of each family and ensure that everyone who wants to be involved can be! La Partera also offers a range of antenatal education classes and groups as well as complementry therapies and the Birth Trauma 3-Step Rewind Technique.
