Welcome to the Positive Birth Movement meet-up in Amsterdam. We meet on a monthly basis at Boezemvriend (Overtoom 205, 1054 HT Amsterdam). Our aim is to connect, share stories and learn from each other. If you’re pregnant it can be overwhelming to be confronted with the (often unsolicited) advice from friends and family. In our group, we do not give advice, we are here to support each other in a non-judgmental way, from woman to woman. Dads and other birth partners are also welcome! A positive birth can be in the hospital with an epidural, an elected C-section or a waterbirth at home. It’s different for everyone. Most importantly, the woman feels heard and seen, her choices are respected and she looks back at a positive birth experience.
