I’m Anna from Warm Glow Photo and I offer gentle, relaxed and child-led family portraiture.
My approach is inspired by the principles of attachment and gentle parenting, including empathy, respect and understanding. I work with the family to create a situation where children can feel comfortable and express themselves, and then gently capture these natural moments.
I only take one booking a day so that there is no rush and we can take the time to get to know each other and relax. This also allows ample time for young children to be changed and fed during the session if necessary.
I specialise in maternity, newborn, baby and child photography. I particularly enjoy photographing toddlers as their personalities come across so strongly in the images. As well as individual shoots I offer a maternity and newborn package, and a first year package (which includes sessions as a newborn, at around six months and around one year).
Sessions can take place in my studio (which is in my child-friendly home in West Norwood), in your home or at an outdoor location (often a local park but I enjoy photographing anywhere and have done some great urban sessions as well).
I work with my husband (a very talented designer and artist) to create unique, high-quality photoproducts and handmade books as well as offering a range of prints and digital files.
I have over fifteen years experience as a freelance photographer and achieved distinction in MA Photography. After having my son I became interested in gentle parenting and set up Warm Glow Photo, which won a silver Brand Amplifier award for it’s approach and vision in 2014.
I love capturing children’s freedom and enthusiasm for the world, as well as recording pivotal events such as the birth of a child. I feel honoured to have been invited into the lives of so many families and to have met so many amazing little characters through my work.
